Job summary

Howden Pacific is seeking a commercially minded Project Officer to lead the integration of acquisitions and strategic initiatives across the Pacific region. The role coordinates across Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Distribution, ensuring momentum and governance as growth targets are pursued.

You will work with senior leaders, build trusted relationships, and help translate ambitious plans into measurable outcomes for a growing insurance group.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in project management, corporate development, business operations or related environment.
• Insurance experience is highly regarded.
• Experience supporting post-merger integration or cross-functional transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end integration workstreams across multiple functions.
• Develop and maintain integration plans, roadmaps, milestones, action logs and RAID registers.
• Track financial, operational and qualitative performance measures, including synergy and benefits realisation.
• Support Day 1 readiness and post-acquisition transition activities.
• Prepare clear project updates, dashboards and executive reporting for senior leaders.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies and mitigation actions.
• Support process, system and operating model improvements for integrated businesses.
• Contribute to change, communication and training activities to support integration.
