Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. You will perform maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems as part of a hands-on MRO team.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Aeroskills, Australian citizenship for defence security, and a current driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining aircraft systems and components.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and MOE documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, inspections and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with MRO team to ensure timely task completion.
• Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 MOE and QA procedures.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and promote safety practices.
• Support effective communication with Boeing, customers and industry teams.
