Job summary

Aspen Medical is seeking an Specialist General Practitioner to join our 100% remote telehealth team, covering overnight hours from 11pm to 6am across Australia. You will deliver video and telephone consultations, providing expert advice while supporting care coordination with local providers.

This casual contract offers competitive hourly rates, 24/7 support, and a streamlined training path for GP clinicians with telehealth experience. AHPRA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as Specialist GP (FRACGP or FACRRM).
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.
• Strong digital literacy and comfort with telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality episodic care through video and telephone consultations.
• Provide timely evidence-based medical advice and treatment recommendations.
• Assess patients and determine appropriate care pathways for ongoing or urgent care.
• Create concise care summaries and facilitate referrals to local services.
• Utilise digital health technologies including My Health Record and secure messaging.
