Job summary

Pullman Melbourne City Centre is hiring a Public Area Attendant for the overnight shift. You will support the housekeeping team in maintaining clean public areas, manage chemicals and laundry, and assist with deliveries and heavy lifting where required.

The role focuses on keeping the property pristine, safe, and well presented. You will clean and check equipment, store items properly, and ensure secure handling of keys and HUBOS device during your shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in public areas within a hotel or similar setting.
• Ability to work evenings and night shifts.
• Strong time management and prioritising skills.
• Self-motivated with a confident, approachable demeanor.
• No sponsorship visa applicants; unlimited working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist Housekeeping in servicing public areas, handling chemicals, laundry, deliveries, and heavy lifting.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and functioning; keep storerooms and trolleys neat.
• Follow health and safety regulations for cleaning agents and storage.
• Secure keys and equipment during shifts; use HUBOS device throughout.
