Challenger Services Group is seeking Part-Time Overnight Public Area Cleaners to join our hospitality team at one of Sydney's leading 5-star hotels. Working overnight, you'll help ensure guest-facing areas are clean, safe, and ready to welcome visitors each morning.

This role offers growth in a luxury hotel environment with a supportive team, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance within Challenger's facilities services division.

Formación

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, public areas or hospitality is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in high standards.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work day, overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of hotel lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, and public areas.
• Ensure areas are clean, safe, and up to five-star standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns promptly.
• Support overall appearance and guest experience of the hotel.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and hotel management teams.
• Follow workplace safety and cleaning procedures.
• Deliver meticulous attention to detail on every shift.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Overnight Public Area Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of hotel lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, and guest-facing public areas.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and maintained to five-star standards.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assisting with the overall appearance and guest experience of the hotel.
• Working closely with housekeeping and hotel management teams.
• Following all workplace safety, cleaning, and operational procedures.
• Delivering exceptional attention to detail throughout every shift.

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Takes pride in maintaining high cleaning and presentation standards.
• Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, public area, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
• Enjoys working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
• Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Has flexibility to work day, overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required.
• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
