Job summary

John Holland is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project, applying systems engineering principles, requirements management, and V&V processes. You'll maintain traceability, coordinate verification activities, and support assurance across a complex rail environment.

Working within the Systems Engineering, Safety & Systems Assurance team, you will collect evidence, manage interfaces, and help deliver project acceptance milestones while developing practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering as specified.
• Exposure to requirements management, systems assurance, testing or verification activities.
• Experience up to 5 years in rail, transport, infrastructure or similar complex environments.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Support capture and management of project requirements within management tools.
• Maintain traceability across contractual, stakeholder, system, design and test artifacts.
• Assist with RVTMs and verification status monitoring.
• Coordinate verification activities and support testing and commissioning.
• Prepare verification reports and assurance documentation.
• Assist with configuration management and change control for requirements.
