Job summary

Quality People is urgently recruiting an Outfitting Engineer for a 10-month contract in Canberra. The role focuses on delivering outfitting solutions, ensuring compliance with standards, and optimizing designs for functionality and efficiency.

You will oversee design, development, and integration of outfitting components, and perform detailed analyses and reviews to support project success. NV1 security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Outfitting Engineer: deliver high-quality solutions for outfitting projects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and review technical documentation within AEO and classification society approved docs.
• Identify risks and develop risk assessments for Principal Engineer.
• Support management of requirements, baselines, ILS docs and V&V documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the function of the Outfitting Engineer SME.
• Support the development of key documentation within the Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) and the review of classification society Approved documentation.
• Identify any technical risks and develop technical risk assessments for the consideration of the Principal Engineer.
• Support the management of requirements, engineering baselines, undertake stakeholder discussions, review ILS documentation, review technical reports and review V&V documentation as required.

Our client URGENTLY requires an Outfitting Engineer for 10 months + Contract in Canberra.

The Outfitting Engineer will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for outfitting projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing designs for functionality and efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and integration of outfitting components, as well as conducting detailed analyses and reviews to ensure project success.
