Job summary

Southbound Adventures, based on the NSW South Coast, is seeking a dedicated Catering & Equipment Manager to support our outdoor education programs. You will work from head office/warehouse, ensuring the best food and gear are provided for each program while liaising with clients and suppliers.

The role requires coordinating catering and equipment needs, budgeting, and forecasting, along with order fulfillment, packing, and gear maintenance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Logistics or Catering preferred.
• Food Safety Certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Logistics or Catering preferred.
• Experience with outdoors/camping equipment preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and caterers.
• Manage catering and equipment needs, budgeting and forecasting future requirements.
• Catering and gear orders.
• Pack/unpack food and equipment for programs.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety.
• Knowledge of outdoor gear and equipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment returning from programs.
• Provide logistical assistance; manage vehicles and trailers.
