Job summary

The Office of Sport is seeking a Program Officer to coordinate outdoor recreation and education activities for school, community and sporting groups across NSW. You will support learning, wellbeing and participation outcomes while delivering safe, engaging experiences across our network of centres.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field or Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation/Leadership with relevant industry experience.
• Willingness to work non-continuous shift including overnight residential duties on-site.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate outdoor recreation activities for school, community and sporting groups.
• Lead and support school camps, holiday activity programs and community groups.
• Ensure participant safety and apply risk management practices.
• Prepare equipment and maintain activity areas.
• Manage rostered overnight duties and on-call outside program hours.
