Job summary

Brooklea Lifestyle Village is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Gardener to maintain gardens, lawns and outdoor facilities for residents and staff. This hands-on role requires practical maintenance skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to safety and presentation.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage mowing, weed control, irrigation, plant care and basic maintenance tasks, while providing friendly service to residents and visitors in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in groundskeeping, gardening or maintenance.
• Practical gardening and general maintenance skills.
• Experience in herbicide application and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces.
• Operate ride-on and push mowing equipment.
• Weed beds, prune hedges, water plants.
• Maintain irrigation lines and garden beds.
• Clean and maintain village pool and surrounds.
• Sort and dispose of rubbish and keep areas tidy.
• Undertake minor maintenance tasks as directed by Site Manager.
