Job summary

Believe Housing Australia is seeking a gardener/grounds maintenance worker to keep properties safe, tidy and well maintained across residential sites. You’ll work independently and within a team, delivering high-quality outdoor spaces and friendly customer service to residents.

You’ll use mowing, pruning, weeding, irrigation maintenance and operate power tools safely. A current driver’s licence and ability to handle physically demanding outdoor work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor maintenance role.
• Confidence using gardening equipment and power tools safely.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently while maintaining quality.
• A customer-focused approach and good communication with residents and colleagues.
• A current driver's licence and ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gardening and grounds maintenance across residential sites, including mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, mulching and irrigation tasks.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment and power tools safely to a high standard.
• Complete minor property maintenance tasks and report issues with accurate records.
• Build positive relationships with residents through responsive, respectful service.
• Follow safe work practices and contribute to a positive safety culture.
