Job summary

Pymble Ladies' College is seeking an enthusiastic Outdoor Educator to join our Outdoor Education team. This permanent, full-time role supports outdoor learning across Kindergarten to Year 12, with field work and weekend programs at Pymble and Vision Valley, Arcadia.

The Educator will deliver safe, engaging experiences, build resilience and teamwork, and manage programs across NSW and beyond. A Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or higher is required, with first aid and risk management

Qualifications

• Must have Outdoor Education/Experiential Learning experience and knowledge of best practice.
• Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent or higher.
• First Aid (Wilderness/Remote) certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bronze Medallion Pool Safety or above.
• Understanding of risk management and WHS in outdoor settings.
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Strong relationship management with external providers, parents and local stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and lead program improvements.
• Fit to promote a healthy lifestyle to students.
• Willingness to support the College ethos and values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Outdoor Education and Experiential Learning programs from Kindergarten to Year 12.
• Lead safe programs for commercial clients at Vision Valley Arcadia and various NSW locations.
• Work seven days per week as required; include weekend events and school holidays.
• Coordinate Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and other ventures.
