Douglas Shire Council is seeking an experienced Ganger Public and Natural Areas to lead a hands-on outdoor crew responsible for maintaining the Shire's public spaces. You'll supervise a small team and ensure spaces are safe, welcoming and well presented.

This role involves planning daily works, allocating people and equipment, monitoring quality and progress, and coordinating maintenance across parks, streetscapes and other public and natural areas.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an outdoor work crew
• Practical experience in landscape and horticultural maintenance
• Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver day-to-day maintenance
• Experience using landscape maintenance equipment safely
