Job summary

Kings Creek Station is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Attendant to keep our off-grid property operating safely and efficiently. You will coordinate daily maintenance across accommodation, campground, restaurant and infrastructure while adapting to the remote environment.

You should have practical handyperson skills, experience maintaining generators or similar infrastructure, and a current manual driver’s licence. A positive team player attitude is essential for this iconic outback workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance across facilities.
• Hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Ability to diagnose and fix problems in remote environments.
• A valid manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance of the property.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across facilities.
• Maintain generators, water bores and sewerage systems.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Service vehicles and equipment and manage stock movement.
• Assist with grounds keeping and presentation of the property.
