Job summary

International Grammar School (IGS) invites applications for an Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator. This part-time, ongoing role offers 25 hours per week from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with year-round hours and additional Vacation Care opportunities.

You will foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, supporting wellbeing and development through play-based activities and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an education, OSHC, childcare or community setting.
• Willingness to obtain National Child Safety Training Certificate of Completion prior to commencement.
• Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusion.
• Eligible to work in Australia with current working rights.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring educator to join our team in a Part-Time Ongoing capacity.

IGS Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) provides vibrant After School Care (3pm to 6pm) and Vacation Care (8am to 6pm) programs for IGS students from Kindergarten to Year 6. As an OSHC Educator, you will contribute to a safe, engaging and inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing, learning and development through play-based experiences.

This position offers consistent hours of 25 per week, working 1.00pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with no split shifts. The position operates year-round, with additional hours available during Vacation Care programs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• have experience working with children in an education, OSHC, childcare or community setting.
• hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement, a National Child Safety Training Certificate of Completion.
• demonstrate a commitment to children's safety and wellbeing
• not be subject to any restrictions or prohibitions, including suspension, supervision or prohibition notices, or enforceable undertakings.
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Children's Services, Education or a related field will be highly regarded.
