Job summary

The International Grammar School in Sydney seeks an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for the High School on a full-time temporary basis for Term 1, 2027, to cover leave. Candidates should have experience teaching Stage 6 Mathematics including Mathematics Advanced, strong NSW syllabus knowledge, and the ability to integrate technology to enhance learning, curiosity and critical thinking.

Full-time temporary, to commence Term 1 2027

Situated within moments of the CBD, International Grammar School (IGS) is Sydney's unique independent, coeducational, secular school offering quality teaching from Early Learning to Year 12. Our unique bilingual program immerses students in a second language every day.

We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our High School on a full-time temporary basis for Term 1, 2027, covering a period of leave.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching Stage 6 Mathematics, including Mathematics Advanced.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the NSW Mathematics syllabuses, well-developed technology skills and confidence in leveraging digital tools to enhance student learning, together with the ability to create engaging and challenging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and academic growth.

As a collaborative and reflective educator, you will bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a commitment to supporting students to achieve their personal best while contributing to the vibrant and inclusive life of the School.
