Wesley College Melbourne, Elsternwick campus, is seeking an Out of School Hours Assistant to support the after-school program for ECLC–Year 4. The role is permanent part-time (0.4 FTE), 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start possible or commencement in 2027.

Essentials include a minimum Early Childhood Certificate III and a current Working with Children Check. Desirable items include prior experience in a similar role and relevant teaching registrations or diplomas.

What you will do

• * Create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel welcome and looked after
• * Keep the afternoon running smoothly by supporting snack time, indoor and outdoor play, and ensuring accurate attendance and dismissal records
• * Set up and pack away program spaces so they are clean, organised and inviting
• * Help deliver activities and experiences that spark children's interests and support their development and wellbeing
• * Provide caring day-to-day support, including help at meal and snack times, personal care and general wellbeing needs

About you

Essential

• * Early Childhood Certificate III (minimum)
• * Current Working with Children Check

Desirable

• * Experience in a similar role
• * Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration or an Early Childhood Diploma
