Job summary

OTR is seeking a Diner Cook to set up and cook our diner range across breakfast, lunch and snacks, ensuring timely service. You will also clean and maintain the diner when not in use and assist customers as needed.

Ideal candidates have kitchenhand/food handling experience, take pride in cleanliness and safety, and are comfortable working solo or in a team. Be prepared for standing for long periods and occasional heavy lifting.

• Previous kitchenhand or food handling experience preferred.
• Pride in maintaining a clean environment that meets food safety requirements.
• Comfortable working alone as well as in a team.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform moderate to heavy lifting.

About The Role

As a Diner Cook, you will be responsible for the setting up and cooking of our diner range including breakfast, lunch and snack foods. This will also involve cleaning and maintaining the diner whilst not in use, as well as customer service.

About You & Your Skills

• Be able to work across a flexible roster [or insert required shifts here]
• Previous kitchenhand/food handling experience
• Pride in maintaining a clean environment that exceeds food safety requirements
• You are comfortable working alone as well as within a team
• You’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to confirm their Australian working rights, as well as provide a current police clearance certificate.
