Job summary

Honour Early Learning in Beenleigh seeks a dedicated Before and After School Care Lead Educator. You will provide a safe, nurturing environment, plan engaging activities, and support children’s social and educational development during out‑of‑school hours.

Split shifts from 6am–9:30am and 2:30pm–6:00pm; prior childcare experience and current First Aid/ CPR are required. We offer competitive pay and extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care settings is preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Paid Blue Card is required.
• Certificate 3 or Diploma in relevant ECE/education field required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well‑being of children at all times.
• Develop and lead age‑appropriate activities promoting learning and play.
• Organise recreational and educational activities (arts, crafts, outdoor play).
• Foster inclusive environment encouraging social interaction and teamwork.
• Maintain records for attendance, incidents, and child development; follow policies.
