Job summary

School Plus is hiring an Educator at Corinda OSHC to support children aged 5–12 across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care. The role involves creating engaging, safe programs, building strong ties with families and the school community, and working within a supportive team.

You’ll be part of a growing organisation with opportunities to gain experience across services, flexible hours including part-time and casual roles, and a pathway for career progression in child care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III, Diploma or equivalent qualification in school age/early childhood education (or current study).
• Experience with OSHC, early childhood settings or related activities is desirable.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
• Flexibility to work across Before, After School Care and Vacation Care.

Program Hours

Before School Care: 6:30am - 8:45am
After School Care: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Vacation Care: 6:30am - 6:00pm

About You

We're looking for passionate, reliable and engaging educators who are committed to creating positive experiences for children and building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

You’ll have:

• A Certificate III, Diploma in School Age Education and Care, Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (or be currently studying)
• Experience working with children in OSHC, Early Childhood Education, education, sport, recreation or a related setting (desirable)
• A positive, team-focused approach and strong communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
• A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), or willingness to obtain
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
• A genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing
• Flexibility to work across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs
