Job summary

QuickCare Western Sydney is seeking OSHC Educators to join our not-for-profit service delivering before/after school and vacation care. You’ll create safe, engaging programs for school-aged children and work with families and school staff to support wellbeing and belonging.

Permanent part-time and full-time roles available. We value reliability, flexibility for morning and afternoon shifts, and a real passion for children.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Working With Children Check (paid, employee)
• Current First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma training, or willingness to obtain
• Child protection training, or willingness to complete
• Reliability, punctuality and availability for morning and afternoon shifts
• Genuine passion for working with school-aged children

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and keep them safe in an engaging, inclusive environment
• Plan and lead activities such as sport, art, cooking, STEM and games
• Build positive relationships with children, families and school staff
• Support children’s individual needs, including children with additional needs
• Contribute to programming, documentation and reflective practice
• Help with meal preparation, setting up and packing away
