Job summary

The Y WA is seeking an OSHC Qualified Educator to join our Mosman Park service. In this part-time role (20 hours per week), you’ll support the supervisor and help run programs for primary school children.

You’ll need a Cert IV in OSHC or a degree in Early Childhood Education, WWC clearance, First Aid, and a passion for safe, caring environments. The position offers a competitive rate of $38.14 per hour plus 12% super, with no weekend work and access to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Cert IV OSHC or equivalent required.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education/Teaching preferred.
• Passion for inspiring primary school age children.
• Ability to obtain WWC clearance and First Aid qualifications.

What you’ll be doing

Here’s an opportunity to make a difference! To start, you’ll assist your Supervisor at our service in Mosman Park. Once operational, you’ll support the nominated supervisor by implementing effective service programs, monitoring behaviour and ratios, while building positive relationships with the children and their parents.

You’ll be great in this role if you...

• Hold a Cert IV from a recognised institution in OSHC or a degree in Early Childhood Education/Teaching or equivalent
• Love inspiring and educating primary school age children
• Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
• Can obtain the necessary First Aid certifications
