The Y WA is seeking qualified and assistant educators for its OSHC service in West Leederville. These casual roles involve helping set up the service, implementing programs, and maintaining supportive relationships with children and families.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA approved Cert IV in OSHC or a degree/diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching, with experience serving 4–12 year olds and the ability to work 15 hours per week. National Police Certificate and WWCC are required.

What you’ll be doing

Here’s an opportunity to make a difference!! To start, you’llassist your Supervisor with the set-up of our OSHC service in WestLeederville. You’ll support the team by implementing effectiveservice programs, monitoring behaviour and ratios, while buildingpositive relationships with the children and their parents.

You’ll be great in this role if you…

• Hold an ACECQA approved Cert IV from a recognisedinstitution in OSHC or a degree or diploma in Early ChildhoodEducation/Teaching or equivalent
• Have implemented programs for 4-to-12-year olds
• Are able to work 15 hrs a week
• Love inspiring and educating primary school agechildren
• Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working withChildren card
• Can obtain the necessary First Aid certifications
