Job summary

Extend OSHC at Waverley Christian College in Wantirna South is seeking a dedicated OSHC Service Coordinator for a permanent part-time role spanning term-time and vacation care. You will lead before/after school programs and collaborate with staff to deliver engaging activities.

You should have a Diploma or higher in Early Childhood or related field, current Working with Children Check, and relevant First Aid/CPR certificates. We offer paid training, flex hours and generous family discounts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, Youth Work or related field.
• Valid Working with Children Check and relevant certifications (First Aid/ CPR).
• Willingness to obtain additional trainings as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Before and After School Care programs.
• Plan engaging, safe activities aligned with school ethos.
• Collaborate with school staff and Area Manager on compliance and ratings.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children.

The salary package includes additional payments under the Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Before School Care: 6:45 am to 8:45 am
• After School Care: 2:15 pm to 6:30 pm
• Hours: Monday to Friday (31 hours and 15 minutes per week). Guaranteed all school days and Vacation Care.
• Leave: As this is a part-time position, leave entitlements apply.
• Professional Development: Paid training for your professional development.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
