Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an OSHC Coordinator in Narangba to lead a team of Educators and oversee before- and after-school programs for children aged 5–12. The role focuses on leadership, program design, rostering, and compliance across a split-shift schedule.

You will work with families, schools and stakeholders, supported by Regional Managers and a dedicated office, ensuring program quality and growth. Parental leave and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check may be required
  • Natural leader who guides a team and helps others grow
  • Strong communication skills to lead by example

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program with STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
  • Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration

Job Description

Helping Hands Narangba is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinatorto join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is a permanent, full-time role working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 8 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time to support your success.

Service hours include:
  • Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
  • Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
  • School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About Narangba Valley State School

Narangba Valley Helping Hands is a welcoming, community-focused Outside School Hours Care service that care for around 130 children per session. The service has an incredibly hardworking onsite Service Manager who will be there to support you throughout your journey at JAG. You will also have an Assistant Coordinator and dedicated team of educators to help you run the sessions!

About your new role

As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
  • Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.
