Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd (SCECS) seeks a capable Coordinator to lead our After School Care service at St Finbar's Catholic Primary School, Sans Souci. You will guide a dedicated team, foster a safe, inclusive environment for children, and collaborate closely with families and school staff.

This permanent, full-time role is term-time only with split shifts Mon–Fri. You will champion the Catholic ethos, support educators, and oversee attendance, programming, and compliant

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Proven OSHC experience and leadership capability.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Certification in Child Protection Training and First Aid/CPR.

Lead an Exceptional Team at a Thriving Service! Join our team as a high-performing Coordinator and take the lead at an established and flourishing After School Care service located on the grounds of St Finbar's Catholic Primary School, Sans Souci. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position, Term Time only. Split shifts Mon - Fri.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Stay organised and vigilant - Manage accurate attendance records and bookings to ensure consistent supervision and safety.
• Empower your team - Supervise and mentor educators, helping them grow in confidence and capability in their daily practice.

• Live the values - Support and promote the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church, embedding them in your day-to-day leadership.
• Build strong community ties - Nurture positive relationships with families, the school, and key community stakeholders.

About You

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic.
• Certification in Child Protection Training.
• Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check.
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO.
