Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Registered Staff Nurse to work with the Ward/Department Sister and MDT to deliver high standards of nursing care, ensure ward cleanliness, and support discharge planning. The post involves teaching, supervision and mentorship of learners, and acting as a role model for excellent practice.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate nursing records, safe drug administration, and contributing to the Trust's digital strategy through Epic

• Provide and be responsible for assessment of care needs and development, implementation and evaluation of care plans.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Ward Sister/MDT to meet standards of nursing care and hospital cleanliness.
• Assist with supervision and mentorship of learners and staff; in absence of senior nurse, take charge of ward.
• Promote safe, evidence-based care and maintain thorough nursing records.
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy; support discharge planning.
• Ensure safe custody and administration of drugs per Trust policies; support digital documentation using Epic EHR.
