Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and appropriate decision making in the management of orthopaedic patients including application, removal and review of plaster and synthetic casts, splints and orthopaedic appliances under the direction of the Medical Officer or Allied Health professional.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and education, helping patients understand their treatment and recovery journey.
• Build expertise through in-service education and nationally recognised orthopaedic technology development pathways.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence, safety and professional standards.
