Job summary

Wesfarmers Health in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Order Fulfilment Manager for the PM shift to oversee the fulfilment activities at our Melbourne Distribution Centre in Dandenong South.

You will lead a dedicated team to ensure orders are met on time, in full, and accurately, while optimizing staffing, training for peak periods, and driving continuous improvements across safety and compliance.

About the role:

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations? We are seeking an experienced Order Fulfilment Manager for our PM shift to oversee and enhance the fulfilment activities at our Melbourne Distribution Centre in Dandenong South.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure all customer orders are met on time, in full, and accurately, supporting our commitment to exceptional service delivery.

What you'll do:

In this role, you will oversee fulfilment activities across various zones, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. Your responsibilities will include optimizing staffing levels, training team members to handle peak periods, and minimizing service disruptions. By monitoring team productivity and accuracy, you will maintain high performance and safety standards.

Additionally, you will analyse operations to identify improvement opportunities, working closely with Inventory and Replenishment Managers to optimise product placement and enhance picking productivity. Promptly conducting QA checks and addressing performance issues will also be key aspects of your role.

Fostering a collaborative culture across shifts and distribution centre teams is essential. You will ensure that team members understand internal customer needs and deliver optimal outcomes for the Fulfilment Centre. Achieving site key performance metrics, including safety, operational, and legislative compliance, is a priority. You will promote site and company safety initiatives, maintaining an engaged and positive work environment. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with EA and policy requirements and efficiently manage payroll matters.
