Job summary

Wesfarmers Health in Melbourne is seeking a dynamic Shift Manager for the AM shift at the Melbourne Distribution Centre. You will lead a team of managers and staff to ensure safe, efficient distribution of products from 5 AM to 1 PM.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive safety, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement while fostering a positive team culture and collaboration with cross-functional partners. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced FMCG leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong decision-making skills, using data and insights to identify and solve problems.
• Proactive leadership style. You are someone who drives change and fosters continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, able to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• A commitment to building team capability and ensuring successful succession planning.

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic Shift Manager for the AM Shift at Melbourne Distribution Centre. As the Shift Manager, you'll be working the AM Shift from 5 AM - 1 PM , where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our distribution centre located in Dandenong operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently during the night shift.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as the Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of Team Managers and Labour Hire staff to ensure seamless and efficient distribution of our products. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining safety standards, managing KPIs, and ensuring we meet our business goals.
