Job summary

Acolade Consulting is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer for a long-term contract with a Federal Agency in Canberra. You will work on Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, and Service Bus, building integration services across Siebel, SAP, IDM, and ADFS.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Oracle technologies including SOA Suite 12C, WebLogic/Oracle API Gateway, WSDL/WADL design, and REST/SOAP services. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence during initial weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware development
• Experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware services and building integration services for systems such as Siebel, SAP, IDM, and ADFS
• Extensive experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12C, Oracle Service Bus, BPEL, Mediator, Oracle Web Service Manager, REST/JSON, Java, and PL/SQL development
• Design and documentation of WSDL/WADL based services, including Service Contract and Interface Mapping documents

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities
• High-level analysis of technical requirements to propose solutions
• Manage release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and share knowledge
• Ensure compliance with software development methodologies
• Provide support to ensure high quality custom solutions
• Lead operations of the team including prioritization and resource management
• Maintain and support existing systems for day-to-day operation
• Report on business outcomes, KPIs and quality assurance
