Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in relevant IT disciplines or similar.
• 8+ years of IT experience.

Experience:

• Application support and Testing experience, with current active knowledge of relevant software tools.
• Application troubleshooting skills, such as use of command tools, shell scripting, able to read programming languages, installation of business-critical applications.
• Full software development life cycle and methodologies working on Tomcat, WebLogic or similar middleware server environment.
• Strong working knowledge of security roles, issues and risks in a medium level enterprise.
• Working primarily on Projects as well as supporting BAU environments.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to work with other teams, i.e. Architects, Analysts, Test and Infrastructure teams.
• Preferred knowledge in working with Logistics Operations Systems or Container Terminal Operations Systems.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
• Good interpersonal skills – including leadership and business liaison skills.
• Knowledge of customer service level agreements (SLAs).
• Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation skills and attention to details.
• Flexible with willingness to adapt to the dynamic working environment.
• Ability to quickly understand and utilize new concepts, processes, and systems.
• Knowledge of JMS, XPATH, XQUERY, SOAP and REST – Mandatory.
• Key skills required are JAVA, Web service, PL/SQL, JMS, XML, XSD, JSON.
• Preferable skills are Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, SOA, WebLogic, Spring, Hibernate and REACT.
• Min 6+ years of Java and J2EE design & programming including web development experience.
• EDI Messaging concepts – Advanced Level.
• WLI /OSB Development – Advanced Level.
• SOA / BPEL Development – Advanced Level.
• Java (J2EE) Programming – Advanced Level.
