Job summary

South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) seeks a Training Specialist to support the Finance Reform Program as it implements Oracle ERP and new finance processes. You will design and deliver learning experiences, translate complex finance concepts into practical training, and build capability across agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting or financial systems environments.
• Experience designing and delivering face-to-face learning programs for diverse audiences.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills that engage learners and build capability.
• Experience supporting organisational change through training, communication and adoption initiatives.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, with experience creating quality learning resources and business process materials.

Responsibilities

• Work with finance leaders, business stakeholders and implementation partners to identify capability needs.
• Translate finance and accounting processes into practical learning experiences and resources.
• Deliver engaging training that builds confidence in Oracle ERP and finance processes.
• Develop high-quality learning materials, session plans and supporting resource for diverse audiences.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning approaches.
• Build trusted relationships across agencies, implementation partners and program teams.
• Contribute to broader program activities including readiness, testing, transition and post go-live support.
