Job summary

HCM Australia is seeking an Oracle ERP Lead Consultant in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne. You will lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP initiatives, working with clients to design, configure, and implement solutions across finance modules.

You will run workshops, document requirements, and guide customers on best-practice cloud adoption while collaborating with offshore/onsite teams. Australian PR or Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a functional lead/Manager on Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.
• Configuration experience in at least 3–4 modules: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management.
• Ability to translate finance processes into functional requirements.
• Strong consulting skills: stakeholder engagement, documentation, problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand business needs and design Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.

Job description

We are looking for an Oracle ERP Lead Consultant for a long standing client with the role being based out of Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne.

Below is some of the experience we are looking for; it’s essential that you have lead experience from a functional aspect.

Some of the experience required:

• Recent, hands-on implementation experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle ERP as a functional lead or Manager (this is ESSENTIAL)
• Strong configuration and/or support experience inat least 3 or 4 of the following Oracle Fusion ERP modules: (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management) + any additional knowledge around Source-to-Pay or Projects would be beneficial
• A solid understanding of finance processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
• A consulting mindset—strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

As part of the Oracle Cloud ERP team, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Oracle transformation projects across a diverse portfolio of clients (on and offshore). You’ll work across the full lifecycle—from project initiation through to go-live and post-implementation support—helping clients adopt best-practice processes and realise the benefits of Oracle Cloud.

In this role, you will:

• Work directly with clients to understand their business needs, analyse requirements, and design effective Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
• Lead collaborative workshops to demonstrate capability, gather requirements, and guide clients on best practice and cloud adoption.
• Prepare clear, detailed configuration documents and functional specifications.
• Continuously grow your Oracle Cloud expertise through training, self-learning, and knowledge-sharing.
• Contribute to presales activities, including proposal development and solution support.
• Travel is part of this role - with occasional travel to Indonesia
