Job summary

Lane8 in Perth is seeking an Oracle EPM Functional Administrator to lead a major finance transformation. This role involves translating business requirements into functional EPM solutions, designing financial structures and workflows, and engaging with senior finance stakeholders. The successful candidate will enjoy hybrid working arrangements and can contribute to shaping a greenfield Cloud EPM build ahead of the go-live.

This is a 6-month initial day-rate contract with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting.

Oracle EPM Functional Administrator (Finance)

A large enterprise organisation is migrating its planning, budgeting and reporting onto Oracle Cloud EPM, moving off a legacy Hyperion estate ahead of a go-live in the upcoming financial year. It is a pivotal piece of work for the Finance function, and we are looking for a senior, finance-facing EPM specialist to own the functional side of it.

What you’ll own

• The bridge between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into functional EPM solutions
• Functional design of financial structures, business rules, workflows and security models
• Reporting, analytics and planning capability, designed alongside Finance stakeholders
• Expert functional advice across budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting
• Functional lead on enhancements: requirements, design, UAT and transition to support

Must have

• CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent), with a strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting
• Proven functional lead or consultant experience on Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion or similar planning and reporting platforms
• A track record translating finance requirements into system solutions
• Confidence engaging, influencing and negotiating with senior Finance stakeholders
• The ability to make technical concepts clear to non-technical finance audiences

Nice to have

• Experience migrating from Hyperion to Oracle Cloud EPM
• Experience in Higher Education or another large, complex organisation
