Job summary

HCM Australia Pty is seeking an Oracle ERP Finance Lead based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will deliver end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, working with clients to understand needs and design effective solutions.

This role requires hands-on lead experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle ERP, strong configuration in GL, AP, AR, and Cash Management, and willingness to travel internationally, including Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle ERP as a functional lead.
• Config and/or support in GL, AP, AR, Cash Management (3–4 modules).
• Strong understanding of finance processes and ability to translate into functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle transformation projects across clients, onshore and offshore.
• Design Oracle Cloud ERP solutions; run workshops; gather requirements and guide cloud adoption.
• Prepare clear configuration documents and functional specifications.
• Travel is part of this role, with occasional trips to Indonesia.

Job description

We are looking for anOracle ERP Finance Leadfor a long standing client with the role being based out of Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne

Below is some of the experience we are looking for; it’s essential that you have lead experience from a functional aspect.

Some of the experience required:

• Recent, hands-on implementation experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle ERP as a functional lead (this is ESSENTIAL)
• Strong configuration and/or support experience inat least 3 or 4 of the following Oracle Fusion ERP modules: (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management) + any additional knowledge around Source-to-Pay or Projects would be beneficial
• A solid understanding of finance processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
• A consulting mindset—strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

As part of the Oracle Cloud ERP team, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Oracle transformation projects across a diverse portfolio of clients (on and offshore). You’ll work across the full lifecycle—from project initiation through to go-live and post-implementation support—helping clients adopt best-practice processes and realise the benefits of Oracle Cloud.

In this role, you will:

• Work directly with clients to understand their business needs, analyse requirements, and design effective Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
• Lead collaborative workshops to demonstrate capability, gather requirements, and guide clients on best practice and cloud adoption.
• Prepare clear, detailed configuration documents and functional specifications.
• Continuously grow your Oracle Cloud expertise through training, self-learning, and knowledge-sharing.
• Contribute to presales activities, including proposal development and solution support.
• Travel is part of this role - with occasional travel to Indonesia
