Job summary

OPSM, part of EssilorLuxottica, is a leading eyecare and eyewear retailer across Australia and New Zealand with a long history of eye health excellence. As an Optometrist in our stores you will work with world-class technology and deliver tailored eye care and outstanding customer service.

You will perform eye examinations, recommend lens solutions, explain lens technology, and collaborate with store management to maximise eyecare revenue including Medicare billing.

Qualifications

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers.
• Explain lens technology and benefits.
• Assist with Medicare billing alongside management.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers by taking on different types of appointments (kids, contact lenses, therapeutics, etc).
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles.
• Clearly explain lens technology and the features/benefits of lens products to customers.
• Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including Medicare billing.
