Job summary

Qualifications

• Min bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10 years NPI/Process Engineer experience in MTO; optics preferred.
• Strong mechanical, chemical, process and optics background.
• Hands-on approach; ability to work directly on equipment and processes.
• Self-starter with initiative in problem solving and process improvement.
• Commitment to compliance, safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment for efficient layout.
• Designing sequence of production operations and adapting machinery.
• Conducting tests to control variables and troubleshoot production problems.
• Providing guidance to product design engineering on specifications.
• Ensuring production processes comply with regulations.
• Support optical assembly processes; proper handling and cleaning of optical components.
• Familiarity with optical adhesives and bonding chemistry understanding.
• Knowledge of optical systems, measurements and performance.
• Make recommendations on new equipment/materials; inform product design upgrades; support regulatory investigations.
