Job summary

Oscar Wylee is opening a new Optical Dispenser role at Mt Barker Central, blending fashion retail and eye care to help customers find frames that suit their style and ensure clear vision.

You will work with a supportive team to dispense lenses, offer tailored eyewear advice, and participate in opening/closing duties as the brand launches its October store opening.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in the optical industry, or 2+ years retail sales experience.
• Reliable with previous experience in store opening/closing duties.
• Strong attention to detail with basic mathematical skills.
• A confident, clear and proactive worker with strong communication skills.
• Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships with co-workers and customers alike.
• A go-getter with a positive and friendly manner, ready to provide customers with outstanding service!

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding eye care and eyewear styling advice tailored to each patient and potential clientele who enter the store.
• Dispensing lenses and frames based on the prescription of each patient, provided by our Optometrists.
• Building meaningful and affirming relationships with our patients—give them a reason to visit us again!
• Assisting with the opening and closing procedures everyday.
• This is a new OW store opening in October.
