Job summary

Oscar Wylee is opening a new Mount Barker store and seeks a part-time Optometrist to provide exceptional eye care to customers. You will conduct thorough eye examinations, offer tailored eye health advice, and work with the Store Manager to foster strong relationships with patients and the team.

Ideal candidates are AHPRA registered, capable of delivering high-quality eye tests, and available Tuesday to Saturday.

• Deliver thorough eye tests and care for diverse customers.
• Provide eye health advice tailored to customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough eye tests and eye care for customers.
• Provide bulk-billed eye tests where applicable.
• Partner with Store Manager to build positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Maintain flexible roster while meeting store needs (Tue–Sat).

Job description

We are looking for an Optometrist to deliver exceptional eye care to customers at our Mount Barker store in a part-time role. They will be able to provide thorough bulk-billed eye tests for a variety of patients and share our passion for eye care and being part of Oscar Wylee’s international community.

This is a new OW store opening in October.

About You

• A qualified and AHPRA registered Optometrist
• Capable of delivering excellent eye tests and care for a diverse range of customers
• Able to give thorough recommendations and eye health advice tailored to customers needs.
• Able to partner with the Store manager to develop and build positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Has availability Tuesday to Saturday
