Job summary

Eyecare Plus Altona is seeking an enthusiastic optical assistant to welcome clients, manage appointments and provide personalised fashion frame styling. You will educate clients on lens technology, assist optometrists with pretesting and support stock control.

Ideal candidates enjoy fashion, have strong people skills, and a positive, proactive approach. Australian citizenship with full working rights is required; training and career progression are available in a friendly, team-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Optical experience is strongly preferred; extensive optical training is provided.

About You:

• Optical Experience is strongly preferred. We provide extensive optical training.
• Must be an Australian citizen with full working rights
• Loves fashion and applies this to making glasses selection a pleasure and an experience.
• An approachable, professional friendly personality, genuinely enjoys helping people.
• Brings positivity and fun to work.
• Great communication and people skills, enjoys spending time helping people.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive, attention to detail and likes to learn.
