Dwyer & Ross Optometrists in Brisbane is seeking a friendly customer service focused receptionist/optical assistant to welcome patients and support their journey.

You will assist with frame and lens selection, handle orders and stock, and work closely with experienced optometrists. No sales pressure, training provided, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn optical dispensing and products.
• Availability includes Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting patients throughout their practice journey
• Assisting patients with frame and lens selection
• Handling orders, stock and administrative tasks
• Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks
• Working closely with our experienced optometrists and team members

• Optical dispensing experience is highly regarded, but we are open and excited to train the right person who brings enthusiasm, customer service skills and a positive attitude
