Job summary

OPSM, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a recent graduate or experienced Optometrist for our Mosman store in Australia. You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations and recommend lens solutions while leveraging advanced technology to enhance customer lifestyle and eyecare outcomes.

You will mentor Graduate Optometrists, support revenue growth with effective Medicare billing, and collaborate with the store team to deliver exceptional Eyecare services and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers including kids, contact lenses, and therapeutics.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles and needs.
• Explain lens technology and associated coatings and extras to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers by taking on different appointment types.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles.
• Explain lens technology and the features/benefits of lens products.
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendations of technology.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue including Medicare billing.

Your Opportunity

As a recent graduate or experienced Optometrist in our Mosman store you will get to work with world class technology including Visual Field Analyser and Optos UWDRS. You will also understand the lives behind the eyes and identify how OPSM can help maximise a customer’s lifestyle enjoyment factor with appropriate eyecare, while providing the highest level of tailored customer service.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range and scope of customers by taking on different types of appointments e.g. kids, contact lenses, therapeutics etc.


• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles


• Clearly explain lens technology, communicatingthe features and benefits of lens products tocustomers including coatings and extras


• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers


• Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including but not limited to technology, Optometry labour efficiencies and appropriate Medicare billing
