Job summary

OPSM, part of the Luxottica group, is seeking a qualified Optometrist for our Mona Vale store to deliver eyewear eye care and exceptional service.

You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, assess lens options, and leverage advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes while supporting the team and store goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate or experienced optometrist in Mona Vale store.
• Experience in eye examinations and lens recommendations.
• Familiarity with Medicare billing and eyewear technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle.
• Clearly explain lens technology and benefits to customers.
• Coach Graduate Optometrists in the usage of technology.
• Work with Store Manager to maximise Eyecare revenue, including Medicare billing.

Your Opportunity

As a recent graduate or experienced Optometrist in our Mona Vale store you will get to work with world class technology including Visual Field Analyser, Optos UWDRS and OCT. You will also understand the lives behind the eyes and identify how OPSM can help maximise a customer’s lifestyle enjoyment factor with appropriate eyecare, while providing the highest level of tailored customer service.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range and scope of customers by taking on different types of appointments e.g. kids, contact lenses, therapeutics etc.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles
• Clearly explain lens technology, communicatingthe features and benefits of lens products tocustomers including coatings and extras
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers
• Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including but not limited to technology, Optometry labour efficiencies and appropriate Medicare billing
