Job summary

OPSM, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a recent graduate or experienced Optometrist for our NSW State Relief team in a Mosman store. You will work with world-class technology including Visual Field Analyser, OPTOS UWDRS and OCT, delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Optometrist with registration to practice in Australia.
• Experience in eye examinations across diverse patient groups is desirable.
• Ability to mentor and coach Graduate Optometrists within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for a broad range of patients.
• Recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle and needs.
• Explain lens technology and coatings clearly to patients.
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in using clinical technology.
• Collaborate with store leadership to maximise eyecare revenue and Medicare billing.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range and scope of customers by taking on different types of appointments e.g. kids, contact lenses, therapeutics etc.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles
• Clearly explain lens technology, communicatingthe features and benefits of lens products tocustomers including coatings and extras
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers
• Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including but not limited to technology, Optometry labour efficiencies and appropriate Medicare billing
