Qualifications

• Experience as a perioperative ophthalmology scrub/scout in a surgical hospital.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients, doctors and staff.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based perioperative care for ophthalmology patients.
• Prepare the facility and equipment for safe surgery.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes during care.
• Support recovery planning and discharge education.
• Guide and mentor Enrolled Nurses on shift.
