Payroll Experts Australia is seeking an experienced WFM/Payroll Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will manage Australian payroll processing, ensure compliance, and support system implementations for multi-client environments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and data integrity, with responsibilities spanning awards interpretation, reconciliations, go-live support, and continuous improvement across payroll operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years Australian payroll experience in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance obligations.
Ability to manage complex payroll calculations with accuracy.
Experience with Payroll, Time & Attendance, WFM or HRIS systems.
Clear written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Interpret and apply awards, EBAs and legislative requirements.
Perform detailed reconciliations and exception analysis to protect payroll integrity.
Analyse large payroll datasets to identify anomalies and root causes.
Contribute to HRIS system implementations and audits.
Go-live support and client go-live activities and issue resolution.
Produce documentation, reporting and control frameworks.
Advise stakeholders on payroll risk, compliance, and process improvements.
Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement across payroll operations and system capability.
