Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Port Adelaide is seeking an Excavator/Material Handler operator for a permanent day shift at our recycling yard. You will perform a range of duties, including loading/unloading trucks and conveyors, operating a Material Handler/Excavator, and maintaining a clean, safe yard.

The role offers regular overtime before 8am, comprehensive training, and clear opportunities for career progression and multi-skilling within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Material Handler/Excavator.
• Forklift ticket, desirable.
• Experience in scrap recycling, civil construction, waste or manufacturing.
• Safety focused and team oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Material Handler/Excavator.
• Operate a forklift if/when ticketed.
• Load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Load scrap metal onto conveyor for processing through the shredder.
• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas.
• Conduct daily checks on mobile plant.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Port Adelaide site, the Excavator/Material Handleroperator will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role offering regular overtime before 8am and paid leave! There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.

• Operating a Material Handler/Excavator
• Operating a forklift if/when ticketed

What you will bring:

• Experience operating a Material Handler/Excavator
• Forklift ticket, desirable
• Mobile shearing on an excavator advantageous
