Mackay Regional Council is seeking an Experienced Grader Operator to join the Capital Works Field Services team at the Paget Depot. You will operate grader, plant, and trucks and perform labouring duties related to road and drainage maintenance and construction.

Essential qualifications include a White Card, HR licence, grader competency with Trimble (or similar software), and proven experience in roads and drainage works; you will also provide instructions to work crews.

Competenze

• Current General Construction Safety 'White' Card.
• Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence.
• Current Certificate of Competency to operate a motor grader > 35kw with Trimble or similar software.
• Demonstrated experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
• Experience in providing instructions to work crews.

Grader Operator

Mackay Regional Council requires an Experienced Grader Operator to join the Capital Works Field Services team at the Paget Depot. You will carry out grader, plant, truck operation and labouring duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads and drainage assets, or other associated civil infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
• Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence
• Current Certificate of Competency to operator a motor grader > 35kw with demonstrated relevant experience in the operation of grader and in particular, final trim operation, including experience with Trimble (or other computer controlled software) guided operation.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
• Experience in providing instructions to work crews.
