Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking an Operations Transformation Senior Associate to help deliver large-scale operational transformation programs across diverse sectors. You will support agile project delivery, prepare client materials, and collaborate with senior teams to progress initiatives on-time and to client satisfaction.

You will engage with on-site clients, develop relationships, and contribute to multiple engagements while growing in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of large-scale operational transformation programs within an agile environment
• Assist in preparing key project materials using Microsoft platforms, especially PowerPoint
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide guidance to junior team members
• Take direction from Managers and Senior Managers to drive project progress and align with client expectations
• Adapt to changing priorities and apply structured problem-solving techniques
• Engage directly with clients on-site, building strong relationships through verbal and written communication
• Contribute to multiple engagements across different industries and functions
• Align your work with PwC’s broader strategy and emerging AI strategies where relevant

What you’ll do:

• Support the delivery of large-scale operational transformation programs within an agile environment
• Assist in preparing key project materials such as presentations, reports, steering committee packs, and communications using Microsoft platforms, especially PowerPoint
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and provide guidance and support to junior team members and associates
• Take direction from Managers and Senior Managers to help drive project progress and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Adapt to changing priorities and apply structured problem-solving techniques to manage tasks effectively in a fast‑paced setting
• Engage directly with clients on‑site, building strong working relationships through effective verbal and written communication
• Contribute to multiple engagements across different industries and functions, gaining broad exposure and experience
• Align your work with the firm’s broader strategy, showing interest and motivation to understand and apply emerging AI strategies where relevant

What we’re looking for:

• Experience or interest in consulting, continuous improvement, or project delivery
• Willingness to grow into managing larger transformation programs by supporting seasoned team members
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build trust and engage confidently with clients and stakeholders through both verbal and written communication
• Emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in face‑to‑face client settings and within diverse teams
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to assist in translating data into actionable insights
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑paced environment, adaptable to shifting priorities and tasks
• Motivated to learn about operational transformation methodologies and emerging technologies such as AI, aligning your work with broader firm strategies
• Proficient experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint
